VEG MAYONNAISE SANDWICH

mayonnaise sandwich is a quick and simple Veg sandwich recipe topped and filled
with egg less mayonnaise and any choice of veggies. They can be served for
breakfast or lunch or snack. They can also be served as a finger snack during
parties.
To make
mayo sandwich, mostly white bread is used, you can also use multigrain bread,
sandwich bread, wheat bread. You can serve mayo sandwich plain or accompany
them with some potato chips or French fries.

INGREDIENTS
Bread: 8 slices
Mayonnaise: ¾ cup
Tomato sauce: 5-6 tsp
Onions: ½ cup chopped
Boiled potatoes: 2 grated
Cabbage: ½ cup chopped
Green chilies: 2-3 chopped
Coriander: ½ cup chopped
Capsicum: ½ cup chopped
Boiled sweet corn: ¼ cup
Garlic: 1 clove chopped
Pepper powder:: ½ tsp
Tomato: 1 chopped
Lemon juice: 4 tsp
Salt: as needed
Butter: 8 tsp
METHOD

Take a bowl, add grated potato, onions, tomato, cabbage, garlic, green
chilies, coriander, capsicum, sweet corn, lemon juice, salt, pepper powder and
mix it well.

Then add mayonnaise to it and mix.
·
Take one slice of bread and spread the mayo mixture on it.
·
Then take another slice and spread tomato sauce on it and place it on
first slice.
·
Now spread butter on outer sides of bread and toast in a toaster or on
a tawa.
·
If using tawa, toast it on both sides until slight brown.
·
Cut into triangles and Veg mayo sandwich is ready to serve.
TIP:
· You can use grated cheese to it; this will make the sandwich to yummy
and cheesy.

You can serve with tomato ketch up.
·
You can use veggies of your choice; I have used lot of veggies in it
to make the sandwich healthier.
